Crossroads Men’s Ministry, Guardians, aims to equip and empower men for a life of discipleship, evangelism and worship in the family, church, workplace, and community through Godly encouragement, inspiration, character-building and service opportunities.

The Buffalo Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Equipping is returning March 21st, 2026 at the Revive Wesleyan church in Hamburg.
Join us with 600+ men for a great day on Saturday, March 21st, 8.30-4:00 and let’s be as iron sharpens iron to one another.
For one Saturday, men from across WNY come together to experience biblical teaching and equipping for all areas of life. With two
keynote sessions, 17 seminar options, and a host of ministries with resources, men of all ages (13 and older) find relevant and practical
ways to equip them for godly living.
Keynote Speaker: Rod HandleyRod Handley is the Founder & President of Character That Counts, and also the co-founder of TGIW (“Teaching God’s Infinite Wisdom”). Today, TGIW groups are meeting all over the world. Rod has published over 20 books including, Character Counts-Who’s Counting Yours? Rod is a popular retreat and banquet speaker with men’s and women’s groups, singles and married.
Keynote Speaker: Derek Handley
Derek Handley is the Director of Ministry for “Character That Counts.” He is a passionate and engaging speaker and has a heartbeat for discipleship. Derek’s ministry focuses on men ages 20-40, shaped by Ezra 7:10, teaching men how to study the Word of God, holding them accountable to live it out, and equipping them to disciple others.
Equipping Seminars
Equipping seminars are one hour long and designed to equip men in various areas of life, such as Bible knowledge, marriage, finance, parenting, purity, and more. There are two seminar times during the conference, with eight seminar options during each time.
Cost is $52 each for a group of 10 or more ($35 for students/pastors/active military); optional: $10 if you desire the on-site lunch.
