SMALL GROUPS

making big church small

WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS

Small Groups at Crossroads provide a community-like  atmosphere where you can learn about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out. Small groups are offered for the Fall and Spring semesters with a church-wide small group at the beginning of the year. Our offerings include such topics as worldview, marriage, family, parenting, finances, prayer, leadership, etc.

Our Spring semester of Small Groups will be starting soon. Please see our current selections below and check back as more are being added.

2021 SPRING STUDY GROUPS

Sunday Groups

OVERCOMER (Men's Group)

Greg Kwiatkowski

No matter what the world throws at us—anxiety, fear, confusion, temptation—we have a choice on how to respond. We can either concede defeat, or put on God's armor and overcome. In Overcomer, Dr. David Jeremiah offers his insights on one of the most quoted but least understood passages of the Bible: the apostle Paul’s admonition to the Ephesians to take up the whole armor of God. An armor we are to put on daily. In this 6-session video study, David Jeremiah explores the armor of God and provides practical ways for believers to equip each piece and persevere from a place of victory in Christ. This 6-week men's study begins Sunday, March 21st at 8am in the River Youth Room. Cost is $25 for book and study guide.

What the Ancients Were Commended For

Norm & Derri Reformat

The Ancients were commended for their ``FAITH`` in being obedient to their ``GOD.`` It was not about sacrifices or works of the flesh. It was about a relationship with their GOD and trusting Him even when they could not see yet what He had promised. We will be studying Hebrews chapter 10,11 & 12 and learn that without faith it is impossible to please GOD, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) Norm and Derri Reformat will host this study at their home (91 S. Blossom, Elma) beginning Tuesday, April 20th at 7pm.

Bible Foundations

Bill and Emily Marshall

The world is filled with information and competing ideas. Many voices, web pages and books claim to have the truth that people should follow, but they cannot all be true. The Bible claims to be true and says that only God's words will last forever. This 8-week course presents evidence that the Bible is true and is the only book fully worthy of our trust. The teaching style is interactive so participants can ask questions each week. Bill and Emily Marshall along with Shawn and Aika Claybolt will co-lead this study, beginning Wednesday, April 21st at 6:30pm in The River Room (Youth Room). Childcare provided on request.
