Small Groups

making big church small

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

What Are Small Groups?

Small Groups at Crossroads provide a community-like atmosphere where you can learn about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out. Small groups are offered for the Fall and Spring semesters with a church-wide small group at the beginning of the year. Our offerings include such topics as worldview, marriage, family, parenting, finances, prayer, leadership, etc.

Our Fall semester offerings are listed below.

Sunday

The Holy Spirit is often the least understood—and most ignored—person of the Trinity. Who is he? What is his mission? And how is he involved in your life? John Bevere’s interactive study reveals the personality of the Spirit, his language, three levels of relationship with him, and more. Includes daily devotions and discussion questions. Our Sunday morning men’s group is ongoing; however, this specific study begins Sunday, September 19th at 8am in the River Room. Cost of Study Materials: $10

FERNE SIGRIST
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements: video seminar, group discussion, personal reflection. Our morning 13-week fall session begins, Monday, September 20th at 9:30am.

This study focuses on Matthew 24-25 (“Olivet Discourse”), the book of Daniel, and the Book of Revelation. This topic can be emotional for many; therefore, no particular singular view will be presented. Our prayer is that we will not be like the Pharisees who Christ admonished for not knowing the time of His return, but that we will become like the Berean’s, who with great eagerness, would welcome the study of the Blessed Hope. For in this day this age that we’re in, it is more important than ever to know and understand the return of Jesus Christ. This 6-week study begins Tuesday, September 28th at 6:30pm.
