Small Group Studies at Crossroads provide a community-like atmosphere where you can learn about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out. Small groups are offered for the Fall and Spring semesters with a church-wide small group at the beginning of the year. Our offerings include such topics as worldview, marriage, family, parenting, finances, prayer, leadership, etc. Life is better in groups!
SPRING SMALL GROUPS AND JOURNEY GROUPS ARE LISTED BELOW.
Sunday
GREG KWIATKOWSKI
This is an ongoing Men’s Study that meets every Sunday morning at 8am in the River Sr. High Classroom at Crossroads. Men can join in at any time.
Monday
MICHELLE BECKER-GROH, TAMMY CASTELLANA
How do we overcome the battles in life that we always seem to be fighting? It is not God’s plan for you to live with some big giant standing in the middle of your life demoralizing you day after day after day and diminishing God’s glory, robbing God’s glory in your life. It’s never been more important that we understand that our freedom and God’s glory are forever interwoven into one story. God does want us to live free. He wants us to recognize that He’s already killed the giant. Put aside what you may think about the classic David vs. Goliath story. In Goliath Must Fall, Louie Giglio shows us how to dwell on the size of our God, not the height of our giants. Once we understand the source of our giants, we can ensure us that whatever our affliction is, it can, will, and must fall down with the power of Jesus. This 6-week study begins Monday, March 24th at 6:30pm in the River Sr. High Classroom at Crossroads. Zoom option available.
ROB PALASZEWSKI, MARY DETTELIS
The world tells us that there is no absolute TRUTH, that the existence of evil invalidates the very notion of a good God, that science disproves Scripture, that the Bible is a fairy tale, that Creation was a lie and humankind was the result of evolution, that Jesus was just a man, that he wasn’t born of a virgin and that He never really rose from the dead, that prophetic fulfillment is contrived at best … and that everything Christians believe is a lie. This course will take on all challengers and focus on the evidence that points to the Absolute Truth that comprises Scripture and true Christian beliefs. (A stand-alone course – but likely the first of a two-parter). This group begins Monday, March 31st at 6pm in the Identity Jr. High Classroom at Crossroads.
Tuesday
Learn how to let go of whatever is causing you to look back, and step boldly into God’s plans, purposes and promises. Of the many women mentioned in Scripture, Lot’s wife—who became a pillar of salt when she looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah—is the only one whom Jesus tells us to remember. In this 5-week study that begins Tuesday, April 1st at 6:30pm in Classroom #4 at Crossroads, Christine Caine will unpack what the story of Lot’s wife teaches us and motivate you to stop looking back, to let go, and to move forward into what God promises for your life. This Spring Women’s Study has three (3) class options. Select the day and time on the form below that works best for you. Ladies are asked to read the book ahead of the study. The book can be purchased on Amazon if you did not already receive a copy at the Fall Women’s Retreat.
