Small Group Studies

making big church small

Small Groups @ Crossroads

Small Group Studies at Crossroads provide a community-like atmosphere where you can learn about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out. Small groups are offered for the Fall and Spring semesters with a church-wide small group at the beginning of the year. Our offerings include such topics as worldview, marriage, family, parenting, finances, prayer, leadership, etc. Life is better in groups!

Fall 2026 Small Group Studies

Study the Bible

We will be studying 1 and 2 Peter. We read and discuss the scriptures, look into customs at the time the books were written, original word meanings and how it applies to your walk with the Lord today. Nothing to purchase, no video to watch, just bring your bible and questions as we delve into God’s word together.

Sunday Sermon Study

Study will focus on the teaching and notes from the previous week’s Sunday sermon message.

Let’s Do Difficult

Scripture is the story of ordinary people facing extraordinary challenges—choosing obedience over comfort, truth over approval, and sacrifice over self. In a culture that often celebrates confusion and calls it freedom, Christ-followers are called to stand firm, push back the darkness, and declare with conviction, “Not on my watch. Let’s do difficult.” Together, we’ll discover practical, hands-on ways to overcome obstacles, live out our faith with confidence, and lead with courage wherever God sends us. Each session in this six-week study features a short video (approximately 10 minutes), along with an in–depth study guide. Let’s choose to embrace difficulty with humility, willingness, and expectant hearts, believing that the Lord will do much more through us than we could ever do on our own. Session 1: Jesus Did Difficult Things Session 2: We Did Easy Yesterday: Coaching from an Apostle Session 3: Realigning Our Thoughts for Transformation Session 4: The Struggle Is Real Session 5: Love Is Difficult Session 6: Embrace Difficult

Book of Hebrews

Join us for a deep study of the book of Hebrews, where we will discuss 2 chapters per week (3 on the last week), and embracing where God takes us with His word. Questions for each week will be posted/emailed ahead of time for discussion.

The King is Coming -John Bevere

What if the most misunderstood topic in the Bible is really the key to a vibrant, purpose-filled faith? In this six-session video study (video access included), John Bevere brings clarity and hope to a topic that’s often shrouded in confusion and fear: the second coming of Jesus Christ. This study will refresh your faith, inspire action, and transform how you live each day. In his warm but urgent teaching style, Bevere will show you how to: See the Big Picture: Understand your role in God’s unfolding story. Deepen Your Intimacy with Jesus: Explore the ancient Jewish wedding to grasp what awaits His bride. Live with Purpose: Recognize the season of Jesus’ return and answer His call to action. Prepare Your Heart: Learn how to be wise and ready, pursuing a holy, set-apart life.

Forward: Discovering God’s Presence and Purpose in Your Tomorrow

What is holding you back in life? No matter your circumstances, no matter your past, no matter your age…God wants you to move FORWARD! In Forward, beloved Bible teacher and New York Times Bestselling Author, Dr. David Jeremiah teaches a master class in how to live fearlessly and get your life in focus. The Christian life is to be lived looking forward and with our eyes fixed on the race in front of us—not looking back over at our shoulder at the other runners or the past. In the Bible, the apostle said as much when he wrote, Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV) Dr. Jeremiah draws on this key verse to show that while it is good at times to look back, we need to make sure that we don’t go back and allow the past to dictate our future. We need to celebrate our good memories but also celebrate our bad memories with finality—thanking God for the lessons that He has taught us through the experience and committing to use those lesson to make positive changes in our lives.
