Christian Service Brigade

adventures in learning and leadership for boys and young men

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

There is no greater call we can answer than to be the tool that God uses to unlock a young person’s potential.

CSB Ministries provides weekly programs that enable men to guide groups of boys through adventure-packed, action-filled experiences that grow young people closer to God…and equip them to be our leaders of tomorrow.

The Crossroads Christian Church Christian Service Brigade is a program designed specifically for boys and young men ages 5-18. Annual events include:  Fishing, hiking, & overnight camp outs, Camp Hickory Hill events and the StocKar building and racing event.

During the school year, the boys meet on Wednesday nights at Crossroads from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Our 2023-2024 program begins September 13th, however, boys can join at anytime during the school year, so come and bring a friend! Boys do not need to attend Crossroads to participate.

Tree Climbers is designed to engage men in becoming spiritual fathers to their sons and to the fatherless. This weekly adventure offers men the opportunity to spend time teaching boys ages 5-7 (K – 2nd grade) God’s Word. Simple projects and games, along with memorization and life application of God’s Word, help build relationships and facilitate the discipleship of boys in a fun and comfortable atmosphere.

Stockade is designed for boys ages 8-11 (3rd-6th grade). Boys are discipled toward Christ and biblical manhood through a comprehensive process of life skills, physical and mental activities, fun, service, achievement, Bible memory, and stories. Adult Christian men serve as role models and demonstrate Christian manhood in action.

Battalion is program for young men ages 12-18 (7th-12th grade),  guided by adult men. These young men and are not simply shown how to lead but are the ones leading the program and events week to week. The young men in Battalion share experiences in peer group leadership through weekly meetings, the achievement program, service projects and outings, helping them to become leaders by leading.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
To provide an environment where each individual can reach their fullest potential in Christ through discipleship, experience, and service.
