It is Crossroads' desire to be an active member of our community and to share God's love with everyone.
ANNUAL OUTREACHES
We provide various opportunities to fellowship both inside and outside of our church by hosting family friendly gatherings and partnering with other churches, ministries and organizations to reach out into our neighborhoods.
This year Crossroads participated in the East Aurora Independence Day Parade, showcasing our VBS Theme, SCUBA!
Below are a few of our larger outreach events:
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a 5-day program in early August for kids entering grades K-6. It is a theme-based program where campers learn about the Bible and God’s Word. VBS is one of the largest and most exciting outreach opportunities that Crossroads’ hosts. Not only does it touch the lives of the 200+ children that attend, it also blesses our 90+ volunteers!
Fall Harvest Fest
Our fall festival is a free fun community-wide event that Crossroads’ hosts in September or October and is open to children and adults. We have games, face painting, cotton candy, kettle corn, souvenir photos, bounce houses, animals, a balloon artist, cider & donuts, a chili cook-off, dessert bake-off and more. And of course, lots of candy!
Family Movies
Since our first successful movie event in 2014, Crossroads is pleased to sponsor community movies on various school holidays at The Aurora Theatre. These FREE admission movies give the community an opportunity to enjoy a family fun event while also learning more about Crossroads and the warm and authentic hospitality we embody.
Holidays
Crossroads partners with local organizations such as Danny’s Helping Hands (Iroquois Schools), Prince of Peace Church (Buffalo), Absolute Care (Nursing Home) and Internationally with Operation Christmas Child’s Shoebox Program to offer opportunities to bless families during the holiday season.
