After 30 years of teaching and preaching you come to know when God is speaking something clearly to you and then to others. It’s one of the most exhilarating moments in life. Jesus said:
John 7:16–19 (NLT)
16 So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me. 17 Anyone who wants to do the will of God will know whether my teaching is from God or is merely my own. 18 Those who speak for themselves want glory only for themselves, but a person who seeks to honor the one who sent him speaks truth, not lies. 19 Moses gave you the law, but none of you obeys it! In fact, you are trying to kill me.”
Truth is what sets us free. Clear, well thought-out truth that is spoken in a timely manner, and to the right people, breaks strongholds and releases the Word of God in a miraculous way.
- Never forget that!
When we lived in Richmondville, NY, a very small town in the Catskills, where Dorald was born and raised, the people there would say, “Tell the truth, or someone else will tell it for you! ” In other words, everyone appreciates honesty and open confession of the facts. Just tell the truth; if you don’t, it will soon make you a stranger to those who trusted you.
This requires, “trustworthiness, integrity, and open honest confession.” Those are the three messages that have been preached over the past several weeks by Dorald, Jeff Dickhut, and myself. So powerful were these messages that I urge you to go back and watch them on the live-stream.

When I began the series “Raising Children, Is there a Mulligan?” I knew in my heart that this would be one of the most impactful sermon series ever preached at Crossroads. It has been just that. I think it would behoove us to have this series offered in a CD series format. Let me know what you think.
FINALLY: Remember the MEN’S GATHERING this Friday night (6 pm) for supper, (free event, and Saturday morning 8am until 2pm with Chuck Stecker. I really believe that the messages spoken on Sunday will continue through the weekend. God is moving powerfully at Crossroads.
Love to all of you,
Pastor Pat
